When thinking about your design....

Visualize what you want without considering the budget, adjustments for the budget can be made later. It is important for our designer to know your likes and dislikes when the design process begins.
Draw an outline of the work area, then draw in where you would like each cabinet or fixture to be placed.
Take notes and cut out pictures from magazines of items you like. Make sure the manufacture's name and model # are included in the clipping. If the magazine has a "resources" page at the back, keep that information for reference.
Start a folder to hold your clippings and drawings and put the folder in an area where it won't be lost. Take the folder with you when you are shopping, but be sure to return it to its safe location.
If you are shopping for ideas and you find small items you wish to use in your remodel, such as drawer pulls or tile, buy one -- but only one -- then if you change your mind you only have one item to return. Keep the reciept with the item you purchased so the supplier and the material can be easily referenced.
If you begin collecting items for the remodel, put them in a box and tape the receipt to each item or put the item with the receipt in a plastic bag. If you use tape, make sure it is clear tape and all the information can be read through the tape.
Remember that moving tubs, sinks or appliances to new areas can be very costly.
Have fun putting together your new kitchen and bathroom. If you have a question about finish material and whether or not it will fit into your design, call us at
